Description:

This 7.0" TFT LCD Module can be can be easy controlled by MCU such as 8051, PIC, AVR, ARDUINO, and ARM .It can be used in any embedded systems which require display high quality colorful image. The Module used SSD1963 LCD controller with 7 inch LCD module with touchscreen. This LCD has a superior display quality and super wide viewing angle, please see the sample pictures, they are taken directly from the LCD display.

For Arduino usage, they are compatible with Arduino MEGA 2560 and Arduino DUE, with the CTE Mega and DUE shield available in our stores.

The TFT LCD Module has embedded Flash IC, which contain fonts of 10 sizes and 236 icons.
There is a utility and library which allow user to write their icons/images to the flash memory, no programming knowledge is needed.

The LCD module support Henning Karlsen's UTFT library, which can be downloaded here:

Addon library for UTFT library is provided to support drawing text and images on the serial flash of the LCD module.
The addon library has
a demo application which include example how to draw text and icons from the flash IC. Drawing text and icon from arduino is easy, by just calling one simple function.

With this LCD module, you will be able to draw bigger and nicer fonts, and also extended ASCII characters too.
Together with user's images/icons imported to the flash memory, they are great for arduino custom application development for those with no programming knowlegde on LCD modules.
Also, you can save a lot of time of uploading sketches to the Arduino, please you can use font data on the FontIC instead. Loading of images from the FontIC is comparably faster than SDcard as there is no latency when reading data from the FontIC.
